The MHS Tennis Facility Fund -
Joal Stanfield Memorial
This Non-Endowed Pass-Through Project Fund was started in November of 2015 to accept donations toward special signing at the new Joal Stanfield Memorial Tennis Complex at Morton High School.
As Spring approaches and more tennis players will be getting out to play at the new Joal Stanfield Memorial Tennis Complex at Morton High School, donations are being sought to help with some special signing around the complex.
Joal Stanfield, MHS Tennis Coach and elementary teacher at Lincoln School died unexpectedly at the age of 34 on August 27, 2014. In October of 2015, Morton High School built a new tennis complex and dedicated it to Joal Stanfield. Morton High's new state of the art tennis complex complete with teaching/viewing tower was Joal's dream.
Fellow tennis coaches, and friends, Pete Martin and Jon Wheat are asking for donations to help purchase special signing at the tennis complex to ensure that lessons and legacy of Joal Stanfield are remembered for generations to come.
