Eric Weber Pay it Forward Scholarship

The Eric Weber Pay it Forward Scholarship was started in June 2022 by Eric’s family. The endowment offers a scholarship to a graduating Senior of Morton High School who exemplifies the generosity and “pay it forward” qualities that Eric had.

Eric R. Weber 1971 - 2021

Eric Weber was a kind, compassionate and generous person with a heart for helping others.  He was a devoted husband and father and a friend to all who were blessed to know him.  Eric spent many years giving his time and talent to coaching and mentoring others, whether it be personally or professionally.  He was eager to share his knowledge, love and success with everyone.  Eric was the first to pick up the tab at a restaurant and always paid for a random table as well, being especially partial to older couples and young families.  He found joy in anonymously providing for others, whether it be a small act of kindness or a more substantial commitment.

Eric was a lifetime learner and valued education.  His life, while cut short by glioblastoma, was well lived.  His “Pay It Forward” attitude was well known among those he loved, and he had a direct impact on the lives of many.  Eric’s family and friends would like to continue his legacy of generosity and giving by providing an annual scholarship to a Morton High School senior who also exemplifies these qualities.
