Scott Witzig, Executive Director, is a lifelong Mortonite whose work experience includes management in a family owned retail department store, Executive Director of the Morton Chamber of Commerce, and Director of Marketing for RMH Foods, Morton, IL. He has also been active in volunteer roles in the community through the Morton Downtown Business Association, Morton Chamber of Commerce, Morton Rotary Club and his church (Grace Church). Scott has been married for 36 years to Darci, and has 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
Karen Howell came to the Foundation as a volunteer, with experience working at Schrock Cabinet Company, Ruppman Marketing, and 15 years of progressive experience at Caterpillar Inc. She very generously served as a volunteer for Scott as his Administrative Assistant for approximately 3 years. Since 2013 Karen has been on staff as Administrative Assistant, 2 days per week. Karen is an active volunteer at the Morton schools, and at her church (Grace church), where she serves on the Life Center Team, and serves as a youth group volunteer and high school girls core group leader. Karen has been married for 26 years to Dave, and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
